February 14: Date night from 4 to 10 with candles and chocolate. Come for a glass of cider before dinner, or for a nightcap after. Classical guitar and a chill atmosphere for you and your favorite person.
February 15: Trivia Night, this and most Thursdays at 7 PM. Test your smarts and win free drinks.
February 16: Chris Davies and the Hollywood Three play starting at 7 PM. Folk, pop, Americana. All good, and no cover, at least this time.
February 18: 5-7 PM. Opening reception for local artist Anita White’s show of documentary paintings and drawings, “Fire and the Flame: Honoring 35 Years of Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre!” Ole!
February 22: from 6 to 8 PM is Chalk Talk Narrative. Renowned writers give readings of their published and unpublished work and aspiring writers have an opportunity to share their own work. This month, meet special guest Wendy Brown-Baez. See Chalk Talk’s website for details
February 24: Sammy P and Friends return to Urban Forage. Sammy really knows how to keep a crowd entertained! Classic country, folk and gospel, together with stories from Sammy’s life growing up in Virginia. 7 PM. Free.
March 1: Edible Landscaping in the City. 6PM. Jeff, an organic gardener and landscape architect, discusses the best trees, shrubs and perennials to add to your Minneapolis landscape. Learn the basic of how to harvest fruit and vegetables through the growing season. Free, but we request you RSVP at the event site here.
March 17: Music by Hurt Seljukiv- the Ukranian Village Band Celebrate the banishing of the mosquitoes from Finland by St. Urho in style.
