Don’t miss the LoLA art crawl this weekend.

By Jeff Zeitler on Thursday, September 19th, 2019

While everyone has now heard of Art-A-Whirl, only those who know, know about LoLA, the League of Longfellow Artists’ crawl happening September 21 and 22.

From 10-5, artists all over our corner of South Minneapolis will be exhibiting; in coffee shops, galleries, backyards, and -ahem- urban wineries.

Yes, we are a host this year to two wonderful local artists- Laura Borealis and Roberta Sorensen.  They’ll be bringing handmade jewelry, fabric art, paintings and even handmade electrical switch plate covers!  It’s an eclectic mix, and all art with rather practical applications, which I can appreciate, and I suspect you will as well.

If you’d like more information, see LoLA’s webpage here, or just stop in this Saturday or Sunday between 10 AM and 5 PM.  We’ll be serving cider all those hours as well, so you can sip while you browse if you feel so inclined.

Cheers!
