Getting down to business
By Jeff on Sunday, January 11th, 2015
We tested out some local fruit wines and meads last night with some friends at our house. The feedback was varied and quite helpful- we’re looking forward to getting our own fruit wine and mead on the market! Thanks to those who were able to attend on a cold Minnesota winter evening.
The last few weeks have been busy with planning for the construction on the space and a lot of back and forth about the accessibilty of the space. We’re hoping to get this figured out quickly, but it’s taking longer than we thought.
It looks like we will be postponing the ‘speakeasy’ party that we had scheduled for February 7th, as we may be in the midst of construction at that time and I’ll be at the MGGA cold climate conference the 6th and 7th of February. Apologies to those that were counting on going! We will make it up to you with a top-notch shindig once we have our facility in a condition where we are more able to host.
Starting a business is challenging. Fun, but challenging, and all of the little bumps in the road are what keep in interesting, but far from easy. Thanks for being on the road with us!
