May 10th dandelion picking postponed til May 17

I know that some people will be terribly disappointed, but it looks like it’ll be too cool and wet on Sunday the 10th for dandelion picking.   That, and the dandelions, after making a good start at the beginning of May have significantly slowed down flowering.  We’re still probably going to have a good crop of dandelions (when don’t we?) but waiting a week should provide us with a more bountiful harvest and more pleasant picking conditions.

Hope to see you on the 17th!  Meet at Urban Forage at 2:45 and we’ll go out to pick from 3-5.  Socially distanced pizza in the taproom afterward for those who’d like to stay and hang out.
